LILY opens expert consultation on its NBS–Health Impact Matrix

LILY is holding an online workshop on 11 September 2026, 12:00–16:00 CET, to validate and refine a matrix for classifying Nature-based Solutions (NBS) for health. The work is being led by Helmholtz-Zentrum (Hereon) as part of LILY’s effort to build shared, evidence-based tools for the NBS and health community.

What the matrix does

The NBS–Health Impact Matrix gives researchers and practitioners a common structure for classifying how nature-based interventions affect health outcomes. Before it’s put into wider use, LILY wants it tested against expert judgement, which is what this workshop, and a second follow-up session, are designed to do.

Who this is for

The workshop is open to anyone working across NBS, health, One Health, climate adaptation, resilience, or urban and landscape planning.

How to take part

Register directly or add the session to your calendar: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/6b0dec5c-5c01-42cd-86ca-9f5e3eef61cb@3ef2a7a4-f288-4cea-b8fb-ff8b3e2a450b

LILY (CA23133) is a COST Action running October 2024–October 2028, working to maximise the health benefits, minimise the harms, and reduce health inequalities associated with nature-based solutions.
